一、課程的性質(zhì)、任務(wù)與基本要求

（一）性質(zhì)與任務(wù)

本課程是高職高專的必修基礎(chǔ)課。其目的和任務(wù)是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生英語(yǔ)口頭表達(dá)和交往能力，使學(xué)生能就日常生活中的一般情景進(jìn)行恰當(dāng)、流利的交談，能就所聽材料或熟悉題材進(jìn)行對(duì)話、討論等連貫性發(fā)言。

（二）基本要求

1、能夠就所聽材料進(jìn)行回答，復(fù)述和討論；
對(duì)熟悉題材略作準(zhǔn)備，能作3-5分鐘的連貫性即席講話，表達(dá)正確、思路清楚，語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào)正確，自然，無(wú)重大語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤。

2、能用英語(yǔ)就所熟悉的題材進(jìn)行專題討論發(fā)言。
