一、考試范圍及考試內(nèi)容

《綜合英語》是一門綜合英語技能課程，其主要目的在于培養(yǎng)和提高學(xué)生綜合運(yùn)用英語的能力。主要通過語言基礎(chǔ)訓(xùn)練與篇章講解分析，使學(xué)生逐步提高語篇閱讀理解能力，了解英語各種文體的表達(dá)方式和特點(diǎn)，擴(kuò)大詞匯量和熟悉英語常用句型，具備基本的口頭與筆頭表達(dá)能力。要求能熟練運(yùn)用課文中的生詞、重點(diǎn)短語及句型造句和翻譯；
會(huì)用英語解釋課文中的重難點(diǎn)詞句；
了解英語各種文體的表達(dá)方式和特點(diǎn)，能對文章結(jié)構(gòu)、修辭和語言技巧進(jìn)行較為深入的分析；
能讀懂與課文難度相當(dāng)?shù)奈恼?，并在全面理解的基礎(chǔ)上回答相應(yīng)的問題；
能結(jié)合文體學(xué)知識(shí)進(jìn)行短文和應(yīng)用文寫作；
能用正確的觀點(diǎn)評價(jià)思想內(nèi)容，判斷評述以及表達(dá)思想，并通過教材擴(kuò)大知識(shí)面，對英語國家的歷史和現(xiàn)狀、社會(huì)風(fēng)俗和將英語民族的思維及表達(dá)方式有一定的了解，達(dá)到《高等學(xué)校英語專業(yè)英語教學(xué)大綱》所規(guī)定的聽、說、讀、寫、譯等技能的要求。

二、試卷結(jié)構(gòu)及要求

（一）、聽力

I. 聽寫

要求：所聽短文以學(xué)生日常校園和社會(huì)生活話題為主，長度約80-90個(gè)單詞。共念四遍，第一遍用正常語速朗讀，錄音語速為每分鐘120個(gè)單詞，讓學(xué)生聽懂材料大意。第二、三遍朗讀時(shí)意群、分句和句子之間留出約15秒的空隙，讓學(xué)生書寫。第四遍再用正常語速朗讀，讓學(xué)生檢查。要求能在全面理解內(nèi)容的基礎(chǔ)上逐字逐句寫出所聽材料

示例：

Ever since the modern Olympic Games began in 1896, they've had their critics. Every form of competitive activity attracts trouble. But part of the aim of the Games, when they were first held in Ancient Greece, was to discourage wars between states by engaging them in a more friendly kind of competition.The spirit of competition in the Games does a lot of good, getting people to forget their differences in a communal activity. Any competitor or spectator at the Games or in the Olympic Village will tell you that the atmosphere of friendship there is unforgettable, as if the world were one big family.The Games are the biggest international gathering of any kind in the world. Not only do they bring sportsmen together,but they unite a world public.

II.聽力理解

要求：能聽懂英語國家人士關(guān)于日常生活、社會(huì)生活和學(xué)習(xí)的演講和會(huì)話。能理解大意，領(lǐng)會(huì)說話者的態(tài)度、感情和真實(shí)意圖。聽到問題后從所給的四個(gè)選項(xiàng)中選出一個(gè)最佳答案。

示例：

（二）、詞匯及語法結(jié)構(gòu)

要求：能進(jìn)行詞匯辨析，掌握并能正確運(yùn)用基本語法和句法。

示例：

（三）、翻譯

要求：能根據(jù)所給出的中文短文翻譯成相對應(yīng)的英語，要求用詞準(zhǔn)確，表達(dá)清晰。

示例：

讀書是愉悅心智之事。在這一點(diǎn)上它與運(yùn)動(dòng)頗為相似:一個(gè)優(yōu)秀的讀者必須要有熱情、有知識(shí)、有速度。讀書之樂并非在于作者要告訴你什么，而在于它促使你思考。你跟隨作者一起想像，有時(shí)你的想象甚至?xí)阶髡叩摹０炎约旱捏w驗(yàn)與作者的相互比較，你會(huì)得出相同或者不同的結(jié)論。在理解作者想法的同時(shí)，也形成了自己的觀點(diǎn)。

（四）、寫作

I. 便條寫作

要求：按照便條寫作的格式，保證正文內(nèi)容的完整性及語言的準(zhǔn)確性。

示例：

II.議論文寫作

要求：能根據(jù)所給的作文題目、圖表或閱讀材料等，寫一篇200個(gè)單詞左右的作文。能做到內(nèi)容相關(guān)、充實(shí)，語言通順，用詞恰當(dāng)，表達(dá)得體。

示例：

Bigcities always hold strong attention to people who live in the rural areas. Whatare the advantages or disadvantages of living in a big city? Write acomposition about 200 words to state your viewpoint on the following topic:
The Advantages or Disadvantages of Living in a Big City
You are to write in three paragraphs. In the first paragraph, state yourviewpoint clearly. In the second paragraph, give one of two reasons to supportyour point of view. In the last paragraph, bring what you have written to anatural conclusion.
